Remington died three days after
whelping Devoe and his littermates. I never endured anything
harder in my entire life. Remington taught me such a great lesson.
Taking care of 6 puppies is probably one
of the most challenging things I've ever done. Remington was so
much fun and I enjoyed her so very much for the time I had her.
She had so much to offer the breed--- Such exceptional type and temperament.
Remington was taken from me way too young, but I
remember her spirit daily, for she loved life to the fullest. I
sent Remington to Brian and Mary Clegg to get her Championship and she
even thought she was a golden retriever. She forgot she was an
Akita. Remington was even a group placer.
I still miss her...
